使徒信条｜The Apostles' Creed

私たちは、天地の造り主、全能の父なる神を信じます。

私たちは、神のひとり子、私たちの主、イエス・キリストを信じます。主は聖霊によってやどり、処女マリアから生まれ、ポンティオ・ピラトのもとで苦しみを受け、十字架につけられ、死んで葬られ、よみにくだり、三日目に復活し、天に昇って、父なる神の右に座しておられます。生きている者と死んでいる者とを審くために来られます。

私たちは、聖霊を信じます。聖なる公同の教会、聖徒の交わり、罪の赦し、からだの復活、永遠のいのちを信じます。

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father; from where he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, one holy church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
