What We Believe

私たちは、すべての創造主であり、聖なる方であり、永遠に三位一体：父なる神、御子、聖霊である唯一の神を信じます。

We believe in one God, creator of all things, holy, and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

私たちは、イエス・キリストが、被造物ではない、永遠の昔から存在しておられる神のひとり子であることを信じます。私たちは、この方が、受肉において、聖霊により宿り、処女マリアよりお生まれになった、まことの神であり、まことの人なる方であり、聖書のみことば通りに、完璧な生涯を送り、私たちの罪のために完全かつ最終的な捧げ物として十字架の上で死なれた方であると、さらには死からよみがえり、天に昇り、全能の父なる神の右に座しておられる方であると信じます。

We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who is not created but has existed from eternity. In the Incarnation, he was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary as truly human and truly God. He lived a perfect life and died on the cross as a perfect and complete sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, he rose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven, where he sits at the right hand of God the Father.

私たちは、聖霊なる神が、永遠の昔から永遠の未来に至るまで、父なる神、子なる神との完全な一致の内に存在される方であることを信じます。私たちは、この方が、世に罪を認めさせ 、罪人を新生させ、全てのキリスト者のうちに住まわれる方であることを信じます。この方はキリスト者のうちに住まわれることで、キリスト者を神の子供とみなし、敬虔に生き、仕えるための力を与え、永遠の希望を保証される方であると信じます。

We believe the Holy Spirit exists eternally in perfect union with God the Father and God the Son. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates the sinner, and indwells the believer. Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit he identifies the believer as God’s child, empowers the believer for godly living and service, and guarantees the believer’s eternal hope.

私たちは、聖書が旧新約ともに、原典においてに誤りのない、神の霊感を受けた神のみことばであり、人類の救いという神のみこころの完全なる啓示、すべてのキリスト者の信仰とその人生に対して、神聖かつ最終的な権威を持つものであると信じます。

We believe the scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of his will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

私たちは、すべての人間が神のかたちとして男と女に創造されていて、等しい価値を持つものとして受精の瞬間から自然死まで尊重され、守られるべきであることを信じます。神は結婚を一人の男性と一人の女性の間の生涯にわたる契約として制定されました。

罪の結果として、すべての人が新生される以前の状態では神に背いており、永遠の刑罰に定められています。

We believe that all humanity is created in the image of God as male and female with equal value deserving care and protection from the time of fertilization to natural death. God instituted marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. 

As a result of sin, all unregenerate humanity is now in rebellion against God and under eternal condemnation.

私たちは、救いは、恵みのゆえに、キリストへの信仰によってのみもたらされ、イエスキリストの完全な従順と身代わりの死と復活のみが、信じる者すべての義認と聖化、栄化の根拠となること、そして、信じる者はすべて神の子とされることを信じます。

We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. The perfect obedience and sacrificial death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection provide the only ground for justification, sanctification, and glorification for all who believe, and those who believe become the children of God.

私たちは、キリストご自身が肉体を伴い、栄光に満ちて再び戻って来られること、そしてその再臨が信じる者の日々の歩みと奉仕に欠かせないことを信じます。

We believe in the personal, bodily, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that Christ’s return has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

私たちは、死者が肉体を伴って復活すること、そして、イエスが生きている者と死んだ者をさばかれることを信じます。さばきにおいて、主は、信じる者を主ご自身と過ごす永遠の祝福と喜びに、信じない者を永遠の刑罰と永遠の滅びに定められます。

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead and that Jesus will judge the living and the dead: of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with their Lord, and the unbeliever to eternal punishment and eternal destruction.

私たちは、真の教会は、イエスキリストを救い主として信じ、聖霊によって新生され、イエスがかしらであるキリストのからだに連なっているすべての人々によって形成されると信じます。

私たちは、地域教会は、普遍的教会の地上における目に見える表れであると信じます。地域教会は真の福音を宣べ伝え、バプテスマと主の晩餐の礼典を執行します。

We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who have saving faith in Jesus Christ and have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united in the body of Christ of which he is the head.

We believe local churches are the visible and earthly expression of the universal church. Local churches proclaim the true gospel message and administer the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
