子どもたちのためのミニストリーで、様々な年齢層のグループや礼拝の時間帯に奉仕します。このミニストリーで奉仕する前に、子どもの安全に関するトレーニングと面談が必要です。

Help serve in our children’s ministry with various age groups and worship times. Child safety training and interview will be required prior to serving within this ministry area.

子どもたちとの経験に応じて、教室のメイン講師を務めたり、他の講師のアシスタントをすることができます。授業は日本語と英語で行いますので、どちらの言語で授業を行うことができるかをご指定ください。奉仕する前に、授業のカリキュラムをお渡ししますので、授業の各パートが順を追って分かるようになっています。授業内容や読み物はすべてカリキュラムに含まれているか、あるいは事前に用意させていただきます。奉仕のレベルは、あなたの霊的なバックグラウンドに応じて決められます。

Depending on your experience working with children, you could serve as a main classroom teacher, or assist other teachers in the classroom. Classes are taught in both Japanese and English, so please specify which language you feel you could teach from. Prior to your serving time, you will receive a class curriculum, which will take you step-by step through each part of the class time. All teaching content and reading materials will be included in your curriculum or prepared for you in advance. Depending on your spiritual background, different levels of serving will be decided.

まつクラス（5-10才）| Matsu (5-10 years old)

• 楽しく安全な環境を子供達のために作り、小学生が神様について学ぶのを手伝います。必要な教材はすべて、クラスが始まる前に教室で提供されます。日本語を話せる先生も英語を話せる先生も、どちらも大歓迎です！

• Help engage elementary students in learning about God while creating a fun, safe environment. All needed materials will be provided for you in the classroom before serving. Japanese or English speaking teachers are both needed!

さくらクラス（1-5才）| Sakura (1-5 years old)

• 楽しく安全な環境を子供達のために作り、幼児が神様について学ぶのを手伝います。必要な教材はすべて、クラスが始まる前に教室で提供されます。その日の教室の年齢によって、教えるよりも遊ぶことが多くなることもあります。

• Help engage young children in learning about God while creating a fun, safe environment. All materials will be provided for you in the classroom before serving. This role can sometimes be more playing than teaching, depending on the ages that are in the classroom that day.

Serve in various roles to create a welcoming environment for church attendees.

挨拶 | Greeting

• 教会に来る人たちが建物に入るときに、魅力的で歓迎されていると感じられるようにサポートします。挨拶する場所は、建物の外や正面玄関のあたりです。参加者からの質問に答えられるように事前にトレーニングも行われます。日本語話せる人も英語話せる人もどちらも大歓迎です！

• Help create an inviting and welcoming experience for church attendees as they enter the building. Greeting stations are outside the building and by the front entry doors. Training will be provided before serving to help you prepare for any additional questions you may receive while serving at these stations. Japanese or English speakers are both needed!

聖餐式の準備 | Communion preparation

• 礼拝が始まる前に、聖餐式の準備を手伝います。パンを切ったり、カップにジュースを注いだり、聖餐式用具の配置、聖餐式用具の補充などをしてもらいます。すべての備品は、奉仕の前に用意されます。

• Help prepare communion elements prior to the worship gathering times. Tasks may include cutting bread, filling up juice cups, setting out communion elements, and replenishing the elements between services. All supplies will be provided for you prior to serving.

献金 | Offering

• 礼拝の終わりに、献金袋を渡すのを手伝います。各椅子の間で袋を渡す方法を学ぶための簡単なトレーニングが行われます。

• Help pass offering bags at the end of the worship gathering times. A quick training will be provided to learn the method of passing the bags between each set of chairs.

セットアップ/撤収 | Set-up/tear down

• 建物はレンタルスペースであるため、礼拝の集まりの時間の前後にセットアップや撤去が必要なものがたくさんあります。セットアップには、テーブルの設置、椅子の設置、礼拝ステージのセットアップ、サインとバナーの設置、リソースとカフェエリアのセットアップが含まれます。撤収は、椅子の積み重ね、テーブルのセッティング、キッズミニストリー、リソース/カフェエリアの片付け、サイン/バナーの撤去、礼拝ステージの解体、ゴミの回収などです。どちらの奉仕も多くの人の手を必要としますので、日曜日に奉仕できるご希望やご都合をお書きください。

• Since this building is a rented space, there are many items that need to be set up and torn down before and after the worship gathering times. Areas of set-up include: putting up tables, setting up chairs, worship stage set-up, directional signs and banners set up, resource and cafe area set up. Areas of tear-down include: stacking chairs, setting up tables, packing up children’s ministry, resources/cafe area, taking down signs/banners, worship stage disassembled, and collecting trash. Both areas require a lot of hands, so please list your preference or availability to serve on Sundays.

Serve in leading First Steps class with individuals in a safe and helpful environment. To serve in this role, you must have gone through the First Steps at another time. Classes are offered in both Japanese and English, so both Japanese and/or English speakers are needed. Prior to serving, training will be provided to help you prepare for how to lead discussions and best assist the individual with any questions they may have about the content.

日曜日の朝の賛美で、バンドのボーカリストまたは楽器奏者として奉仕します。

Serve as a vocalist or instrumentalist in the band during Sunday morning worship.

日曜日の礼拝の集まりや、週を通して行われる各種アウトリーチイベントに必要な、様々なオーディオビジュアルやその制作を手伝う。

Serve in various A/V and production needs for Sunday worship gatherings or various outreach events throughout the week.

スライド | Slides

• 礼拝の集まりやアウトリーチイベントで上映されるスライドの進行管理を手伝います。これには、賛美、説教、アナウンスメント、一般告知のループスライドが含まれます。この役割には、スライド作成のスキルは必要ありません。

• Help manage progression of slides shown during worship gatherings or outreach events – this may include: worship songs, teaching slides, announcement slides, general announcement loop slides. No slide creation skills are needed for this role.

オーディオ | Audio

• 日曜礼拝やその他のイベントにおいて、賛美バンド、スピーカー、牧師、アナウンスチームのオーディオのバランス管理を手伝います。A/Vの経験があると良いですが、この分野で奉仕するのに必須ではありません。

• Help assist with balancing and managing audio levels for worship band, speakers, teaching pastors, and announcement team throughout Sunday worship gathering or at other events. Some A/V experience is helpful, but not required to serve in this area.

英語や日本語の翻訳者または通訳者として奉仕します。この奉仕をするには、ほとんどのコンテンツでキリスト教の基本的な知識が必要となるため、クリスチャンであることが必須です。

Serve as a translator for speaking or written content in English or Japanese. To serve in this role, you must be a Christian, as most of the content will have basic Christian knowledge needed.

  • Help read scripture during the worship gatherings. Scripture will be sent to you days prior for you to practice before Sunday worship times. No real-time translation needed.

• 礼拝の挨拶 | Service Greeter

  • 礼拝の始まりに、教会を歓迎し、挨拶をします。正確な文言が書かれた台本が数日前に送られてくるので、日曜日の礼拝時間の前に練習できます。リアルタイムで通訳する必要はありません。

  • Help welcome and greet the church at the beginning of the service time. A script with the exact wording will be sent to you days prior for you to practice before the Sunday worship times. No real-time translation needed.

• 説教 | Sermon

  • 礼拝の説教を通訳します。日本語に通訳するために、礼拝の数週間前に詳細な英文原稿が送られてきますので、それを翻訳します。その後、牧師と面談し、疑問点や問題点を話し合い、内容に間違いがないかを確認します。日曜日の朝、各礼拝で通訳をします。ほとんどの場合、あらかじめ翻訳した原稿を読みますが、時にはリアルタイムの通訳が必要な場合もあります。

  • Help translate the sermon/teaching part of the service. A fully detailed English manuscript would be sent to you to translate weeks before the service for you to translate into Japanese. Afterward, you would meet with the teaching pastor to discuss any questions/issues and ensure the content is correct. On Sunday morning, you would translate at each service. Most of this will be read from your translated script, but occasional real-time translation may be needed.

• アナウンスメント | Announcement

  • 礼拝の終わりに告知を通訳します。各種最新情報やミニストリーの各種告知事項をその場で通訳します。

  • Help translate end of worship gathering announcements. Various announcements for different updates or ministries will need to be translated on the spot.

• 英語のスキルを練習したいと考えている参加者と英語で会話をし、テーブルにあるディスカッション用の質問に沿って会話をリードしてください。皆さんが友達をつくり、楽しく過ごしながら英語を練習できる、明るく歓迎的な雰囲気づくりを手助けしていただきます。カリキュラムは用意されており、教える経験は必要ありません。

• Have conversations in English with others who are interested in practicing their English skills and lead the conversation following the discussion question on your table. Help create a fun, welcoming environment where people can make friends, have fun, and practice English. Curriculum is provided and no teaching experience is necessary.

Hospitality Volunteer｜ホスピタリティのボランティア

• イベントに来る人たちが会場に入るときに、魅力的で歓迎されていると感じられるようにサポートします。基本的には、ウェルカムテーブルや会場にお菓子を並べたり、またウェルカムテーブルで参加者に挨拶したり、受付案内をします。日本語話せる人も英語話せる人もどちらも大歓迎です！

• Help create an inviting and welcoming experience for event attendees as they enter the room. Basically, you will help set out snacks at the welcome table or around the venue, greet participants at the welcome table, and assist them with check-in and directions. Japanese or English speakers are both needed!
